Job Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, regulations, and company safety policies.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits at container yards, warehouses, and solar panel installation sites.
Prepare and review Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Job Safety Analyses (JSA).
Coordinate and implement Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans.
Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and safety training for workers and subcontractors.
Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance with safe work practices.
Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, clients, and contractors on all safety-related matters.
Maintain safety records, inspection reports, incident reports, and statutory documentation.
Ensure all container handling, lifting operations, and solar panel installation activities are carried out safely and in accordance with MOM and WSH requirements.
Support safety compliance during rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV installation projects.
Requirements
Diploma or higher qualification in Workplace Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience as a Safety Coordinator in container depot, logistics, construction, or solar panel projects.
Hands-on experience in solar PV installation projects is mandatory.
Possess the following valid WSQ certifications:
Workplace Safety and Health Control Measures-4
Coordinate Implementation of Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans
Good knowledge of:
WSH Act and Regulations
Risk Assessment (RA)
Safe Work Procedures (SWP)
Incident Investigation
Emergency Response Planning
Permit-to-Work (PTW) system
Experience working at height and overseeing lifting operations is an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Possess a valid Class 3 Singapore Driving Licence (preferred).
Salary
SGD $3,500 – $4,800 per month (inclusive of overtime and Sunday work), depending on experience and qualifications.
Working Hours
One month: 2 rest days
Overtime and Sunday work are included in the monthly salary package.
Additional working hours may be required based on operational and project requirements.
