Contract Electrical Engineer (Healthcare Projects) #HJO

Job Responsibilities:

• Review electrical engineering drawings, technical specifications, and consultant submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable regulations
• Evaluate electrical system designs including power distribution, emergency power, UPS, lighting, and building management systems to support healthcare operations
• Identify design gaps, technical issues, and coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve them
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams to ensure integrated project delivery
• Support testing, commissioning, and validation of electrical systems to ensure compliance with operational requirements
• Participate in project handover activities, defect inspections, and rectification management during the defects liability period
• Maintain accurate project documentation including submissions, approvals, test reports, and as-built records
• Support technical evaluations, grant submissions, and infrastructure planning for specialised healthcare systems
• Perform other duties and projects assigned by management

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Good knowledge of Singapore electrical regulations, building codes, and healthcare infrastructure requirements
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Strong stakeholder management, coordination, and communication skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders in a project environment
