Contract Manager (Main Contractor / Commercial & Contracts)

Our client is a well-established BCA-registered Main Contractor with a strong portfolio of public and private sector construction projects across Singapore.

As the business continues to expand, they are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to lead the commercial and contractual functions of multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full contract administration process from project award through final account.
• Manage project cost control, commercial planning, budgeting, and cash flow.
• Review, negotiate, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements.
• Prepare and manage variation orders (VO), claims, EOT submissions, and final accounts.
• Identify commercial risks and recommend practical solutions to protect project profitability.
• Support Project Managers on contractual matters, procurement strategies, and commercial decision-making.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on all contractual and commercial matters.
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions, project requirements, and company procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of Quantity Surveying or Contract Management experience with a Main Contractor in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts such as PSSCOC, SIA, and procurement practices.
• Hands-on experience in cost control, claims, variation orders, final accounts, and contract administration.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Senior Quantity Surveyors looking to progress into a Contract Manager role are encouraged to apply.
