• Sembcorp Specialised Construction, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries, provides design and build services with an in-house multidisciplinary consultancy. Specialising in building, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects, we deliver innovative and efficient solutions to meet the evolving needs of the industry.

Purpose and Scope

• The Contracts Engineering team plays a pivotal role in managing the financial & contractual provisions which is crucial to the successful delivery of building projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the financial & contractual provisions of all projects from pre-tender to post contract phases including quantities, variations, cost estimates, monthly claims, final accounts etc
• Work closely with Project Manager in preparing monthly updated project costing
• Develop suitable subcontract conditions for specific project requirements
• Prepare project budgeting and costing reports
• Responsible in cost estimating, quantity take off, claims preparation, variations and final accounts.
• Review of contracts, prepare tender & contract documentations, tender analysis & reporting, measurement etc
• Review sub-contractors claims and materials on site
• Standardize all agreements (e.g. subcontracts and joint ventures) with alignment to contract policy

Requirements:

• Degree inInfrastructure and Project Management/ Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
• Fresh Grads with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
• Strong in negotiation skills.
• Good understanding & knowledge of contracts law and its application.
• Exposed to various forms of contracts such as PSSCOC, SIA and FIDIC as well as other international form of contracts.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Due to the sensitive project nature, only Singaporeans will be considered.
