Contracts Manager (Construction)

Reporting To: Director of Commercial

Job Summary

Responsible for driving business growth, securing new projects, managing client relationships, overseeing tender submissions, and handling contract administration for the Company’s ERSS and construction projects in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

·      Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction and ERSS industry.

·      Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, developers, and main contractors.

·      Source, prepare, and manage tender submissions, quotations, and business proposals.

·      Review and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and commercial agreements.

·      Monitor project contractual matters including variations, claims, EOT, and payment issues.

·      Provide commercial and contractual support to project teams.

·      Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and Singapore regulations.

·      Support management in business strategy, market development, and revenue growth.

·      Lead and coordinate business development and contracts-related activities.

Requirements

·      Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.

·      Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in construction industry in Singapore.

·      Minimum 3 years of Quantity Surveying (QS) experience in the Singapore construction industry.

·      Preferred Familiarity with ERSS works, deep excavation, piling, strutting systems, and temporary works will be advantageous.

·      Preferred Familiar with BCA,MOM, LTA, PUB, HDB, and other Singapore regulatory requirements.

·      Strong knowledge of tendering, contract administration, and construction commercial practices.

·      Familiar with standard forms of contracts (SIA, PSSCOC, FIDIC, etc.).

·      Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

·      Independent, proactive, and result-oriented.

Remuneration
