JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and manage all commercial and contractual aspects of MRT Station and Tunnelling civil infrastructure projects from construction stage to final account
• Lead contract administration, cost control, claims management, and financial reporting to ensure project profitability and contractual compliance
• Manage project budgets, cost forecasts, cash flow reporting, and commercial risk assessments
• Review and administer main contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements
• Evaluate and manage variation works, extension of time claims, contractual claims, and final account settlements with clients and subcontractors
• Oversee procurement and subcontractor management, including tender evaluation, negotiation, and award of work packages
• Monitor project cost performance and implement strategies to mitigate commercial and contractual risks
• Liaise with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and clients on contractual and commercial matters
• Provide leadership and guidance to Quantity Surveyors and commercial team members
• Support tendering activities, cost planning, value engineering, and commercial strategy where required

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in LTA MRT or infrastructure projects
• Main Contractor experience in civil, tunnelling or rail projects preferred
• Strong knowledge of claim management, variation claims, contract administration and cost control
• Familiar with Singapore construction contracts and authority requirements
