Job Description - Costing Consultant

Develop and implement costing strategies to improve project profitability and operational efficiency.
Prepare, review and analyse project cost estimates, budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Advise management on cost control measures and financial planning.
Evaluate project variations, claims and commercial risks from a costing perspective.
Review tender documents, quotations and pricing proposals to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
Work closely with project, procurement and finance teams to optimise project costs and resource allocation.
Analyse production and operational costs and recommend process improvements.
Prepare cost reports, financial analyses and management presentations.
Ensure costing practices comply with company policies, contractual requirements and relevant industry standards.
Support business planning through financial modelling and cost-benefit analysis.
Provide recommendations to improve profitability, productivity and operational performance.
