Client is an expert in automation and digital systems for pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing, seeking to hire a yearly contract renewable CQV Engineer.

Your new role

We are seeking an experienced CQV Engineer with experience in HVAC, you will play a critical role in executing commissioning, qualification, and validation of HVAC systems.

• Develop, review, and execute qualification documentation for HVAC and cleanroom systems, including IQ, OQ, PQ, requalification protocols, deviation records, and summary reports.
• Conduct qualification activities for AHUs, HVAC systems, ductwork, environmental control systems, HEPA filtration units, temperature and humidity controls, differential pressure systems, and Grade C/D cleanrooms.
• Plan, coordinate, and assess cleanroom certification activities, including smoke studies, airflow and velocity measurements, air change rate calculations, HEPA integrity testing, non-viable particle monitoring, pressure cascade verification, and environmental mapping.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, start-up, system balancing, punch-list resolution, and final handover activities.
• Review and verify vendor and contractor deliverables, including test reports, calibration certificates, quality records, and turnover documentation.
• Manage and close qualification-related deviations, change controls, risk assessments, action items, and punch-list activities.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Facilities, Automation, Operations, Validation teams, and external contractors to ensure successful project execution and milestone achievement.
• Support the verification of HVAC automation controls and EMS/BMS monitoring systems where these form part of the validated system scope.
• Ensure all qualification documentation is accurate, complete, audit-ready, and maintained in compliance with GMP requirements and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of HVAC and cleanroom CQV experience within pharmaceutical or biotechnology facilities.
• Strong knowledge of EU GMP Annex 1, ISO 14644 cleanroom standards, ISPE Baseline Guides, and Good Documentation Practices.
• Hands-on experience with cleanroom qualification testing, HVAC control verification, deviations, and qualification reporting.
