Job Purpose The Digitalization Department Engineer is responsible for supporting the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of digital systems, automation tools, dashboards, and data-driven solutions within the company. The role supports the company’s digital transformation roadmap by working closely with project teams, QESH, Commercial, Project Management, IT, and other departments to collect operational requirements, improve workflows, digitalize manual processes, and ensure effective adoption of digital tools across projects and departments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital System Development and Implementation The engineer shall assist in the development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of internal digital systems, including but not limited to:
• Smart Worksite systems
• QESH management systems
• Project management platforms
• Commercial and cost control modules
• Dashboards and reporting systems
• Workflow and approval systems
• Digital forms and inspection records
• IoT and site monitoring platforms
The engineer shall also support the configuration of forms, workflows, user roles, permissions, dashboards, and reports according to operational requirements.
2. Business Process Digitalization
The engineer shall work with different departments and project teams to understand existing manual processes and convert them into structured digital workflows.
This includes:
• Studying current paper-based or Excel-based processes
• Mapping workflows and approval routes
• Identifying gaps, duplicate work, and inefficiencies
• Proposing practical digital solutions
• Preparing process flow diagrams and user requirement documents
• Supporting system testing before implementation
• Assisting users during rollout and adoption
3. Data Collection, Management and Dashboarding The engineer shall support the company’s data collection and dashboard strategy by ensuring that project and departmental data can be captured, cleaned, organized, analyzed, and presented effectively.
Responsibilities include:
• Creating and maintaining digital forms for data collection
• Supporting database structure and field setup
• Preparing dashboards for management reporting
• Developing charts, tables, KPIs, and visual reports
• Verifying data accuracy and completeness
• Assisting departments in standardizing data input
• Supporting AI-ready data collection for future analytics
Job Requirement:
Experience Preferably 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in Python, Java, SQL/Postgresql/Mongodb, digital systems, IT support, construction technology, data analytics, workflow systems, or project coordination.
Fresh graduates with strong interest in digitalization, construction technology, automation, or data analytics may also be considered.
Willingness to learn new technologies
Good problem-solving skills
Good documentation and reporting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
