Position Overview

We are looking for a visionary Director who possesses a rare blend of cross-border financial acumen, market expansion expertise, and deep cultural literacy. In this high-impact executive role, you will hold the keys to our China market entry. Your primary mandates will be securing strategic funding from Chinese investors, establishing our corporate footprint in China, and building localized service frameworks to win and delight Chinese clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Fundraising & Capital Matching: Identify, engage, and secure strategic investment, venture capital, or joint-venture partnerships from mainland Chinese funds, HNWIs, and institutional investors.

• Market Entry & Expansion: Develop and execute the comprehensive blueprint for our China market entry, including regulatory compliance, local entity setup, and strategic scaling.

• Chinese Client Acquisition: Build and lead a high-performing business development team dedicated to onboarding major Chinese enterprises and state-owned entities (SOEs).

• Cross-Border Relationship Management: Act as the primary trusted advisor to senior Chinese stakeholders, ensuring our products/services are perfectly localized to solve their unique pain points.

• Executive Leadership: Align with the global executive team to ensure China-side operations seamlessly integrate with our broader corporate governance, culture, and profitability targets.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience with a proven track record of scaling businesses into mainland China or raising capital from Chinese investors.

• Language & Cultural Fluency: Native or professional-grade bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin (both spoken and written) is essential to negotiate effectively with Chinese C-suite executives and investors.

• Network: An active, robust network within the Chinese venture capital/private equity ecosystem and commercial business sectors.

• Strategic Acumen: Deep understanding of the Chinese regulatory landscape, cross-border capital flows, and modern Chinese corporate culture (e.g., tech ecosystems like WeChat/Alibaba, digital twin trends, or AI frameworks).
