ELECTRIC POWER ENGINEER

Job Summary

Manage and maintain mechanical and electrical systems duringshopping hours, ensuring operational efficiency and timely response totechnical issues. Coordinate with subcontractors and handle emergency clientmeetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control Building Automation System (BAS) to optimize facility operations during shopping hours
• Operate and maintain gas, lighting, FCU, PAHU, cold room, mechanical ventilation fans, and PA system to ensure system reliability
• Perform servicing and maintenance on electrical risers, electrical sub-distribution boards, tenant distribution boards, generators, cooling towers, and low voltage switchboards to maintain operational safety
• Investigate and resolve complaints related to electrical, mechanical, building, and plumbing issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks, maintaining operational continuity
• Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical control panels to verify functionality and safety compliance
• Respond to emergency situations on-site during night or day shifts, liaising with clients and authorities to resolve issues effectively
• Provide technical and official responses to inquiries from authorities or senior management to support compliance and communication

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience
• Willingness to work rotating day/night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by management
