As we continue to grow internationally, we are looking for an Electrical Applications Engineer to strengthen our engineering capability and support customers across multiple regions.

About the Role

This is not a traditional site engineer role.

As an Electrical Applications Engineer, you will play a key role throughout the entire project lifecycle—from supporting technical proposals and customer discussions, to commissioning systems, improving product quality, and working with our manufacturing partner on continuous product development.

You will work closely with customers, distributors, suppliers and our engineering teams to ensure Infinity Cube continues delivering reliable, high-quality energy storage solutions worldwide.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with customers, and wants to grow into a future technical leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Sales Support

• Support the sales team with technical proposals and system configurations.

• Review customer requirements and recommend suitable BESS solutions.

• Prepare technical calculations, single-line diagrams and supporting documentation.

• Participate in customer meetings to provide technical advice and presentations.

Project Engineering & Site Support

• Commission Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).

• Support system installation and commissioning.

• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

• Conduct customer training during project handover.

Product Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Conduct product quality inspections.

• Investigate warranty and field issues.

• Prepare technical reports and corrective action recommendations.

• Work closely to improve product quality, reliability and serviceability.

• Track recurring issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Product Development

• Gather customer feedback from local and international markets.

• Support testing of new features and software updates.

• Participate in new product development discussions.

• Review product documentation and engineering drawings.

Technical Support

Provide technical support for customers and distributors in:

• Singapore

• Australia

• United Kingdom

• Europe

• Other international markets as required

Support may include remote troubleshooting, on-site visits and customer training.

Documentation

Prepare and maintain:

• Technical manuals

• Installation guides

• Commissioning procedures

• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Service reports

• Technical bulletins

Skills & Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline.

• 3–8 years of relevant working experience.

• Fresh candidates with exceptional aptitude and internships in relevant industries may also be considered.

• Preferred experience in one or more of the industries - Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Generator systems, Power generation, Electrical distribution, Switchboards, UPS systems, Solar Energy, Renewable energy, Industrial Automation, Marine electrical systems and Data centre power infrastructure.

• Three-phase electrical systems.

• Electrical drawings and schematics.

• Electrical troubleshooting.

• Commissioning of industrial electrical systems.

• Good understanding of electrical protection and power distribution.

• Microsoft Office.

Preferred Skills

• PLC or industrial control systems.

• Modbus / CAN communication.

• Battery systems.

• Generator synchronisation.

• Solar PV integration.

• EMS / SCADA systems.
