ELECTRICAL DRAFTER

Job Description

• Prepare and revise M&E drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software.
• Produce detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings.
• Interpret engineering designs, sketches, and specifications into technical drawings.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers to resolve design conflicts.
• Ensure drawings comply with local regulations, project specifications, and company standards.
• Maintain accurate drawing records and document revisions.
• Assist in site coordination and update drawings based on site conditions when required.
• Support project teams by providing technical drafting assistance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants to ensure proper integration of M&E systems.
• Perform other drafting and technical duties assigned by management

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in M&E drafting (fresh graduates with strong drafting skills may also be considered).
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and construction drawings.
• Familiar with local building codes and industry standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Good time management skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines , with flexibility to work extended hours when required.
