Electrical Engineer (Building Services)

Company Profile:

Julian Grey’s client is an established engineering consultancy providing professional M&E consulting services for building projects across various sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems and services for building and construction projects in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards.
• Prepare tender documentation, manage tender exercises, evaluate submissions and support recommendations for contract awards.
• Coordinate and supervise M&E works throughout the construction stage, including installation, testing and commissioning.
• Review technical submissions, shop drawings, progress claims and variation claims.
• Prepare plans and technical documents for authority submissions and liaise with the relevant regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers to resolve technical and project-related matters.
• Manage project scope, schedules and deliverables, including obtaining client approval and sign-off at key stages.
• Monitor project progress, provide regular status updates and carry out other project-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Minimum1 year of experience in electrical design, site supervision and project implementation.
• Experience in an engineering consultancy is preferred, with knowledge of the building or construction industry.
• Independent, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines while collaborating effectively with project teams.
