Electrical Engineering Technician

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrical Engineering Technician specializing in HV / LV cable installation to join our site team. You will carry out cable laying, jointing, termination works in compliance with project specifications, safety rules, and industry standards. We require highly skilled workers (R1 category) with proven hands-on expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out installation of Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) cables – direct burial, duct laying, cable tray, trench, and tunnel installation.
• Perform cable pulling, routing, fixing, jointing, and termination up to 33kV.
• Conduct pre-installation checks: cable type, size, insulation, and damage inspection.
• Carry out site tests: continuity, insulation resistance, earth resistance, and assist in HV testing.
• Follow approved drawings, work procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
• Prepare daily work logs, inspection records, and assist QA/QC officers.
• Use and maintain tools & equipment: cable cutters, crimping tools, test meters, jointing kits, etc.
