ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily site operations to ensure efficient execution of construction activities in accordance with project requirements.

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor work progress in alignment with the approved master construction programme and milestones.

• Work closely with the Professional Engineer on the planning, design coordination, and implementation of temporary works systems.

• Liaise and coordinate with consultants, Qualified Persons (QPs), and subcontractors on technical, engineering, and construction matters.

• Oversee underground infrastructure works, including diaphragm wall construction, bore piling, tunnelling operations, and underground structural works.

• Manage viaduct and ducting works (including via duct systems) associated with LTA infrastructure projects.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to site supervisors, engineers, and construction teams to ensure proper execution of works.

• Ensure all works comply with quality standards, technical specifications, contract requirements, and regulatory approvals.

• Conduct regular site inspections, identify engineering and construction issues, and implement timely corrective measures.

• Prepare and review method statements, technical reports, construction methodologies, and engineering submissions.

• Enforce high standards of site safety, environmental control, housekeeping, and workforce discipline in accordance with statutory and LTA safety requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant construction and site management experience.
• Prior experience in LTA infrastructure projects, particularly underground and viaduct-related works, is strongly preferred.
• Proven hands-on experience in diaphragm wall construction, bore piling, tunnelling works, underground structures, and via duct systems.
• Strong coordination, leadership, and site management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Willing and able to undertake rotational and night shift duties as required by site operations.
