ENGINEER

Job Description

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities to ensure timely completion.
• Review customer drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with design, production, procurement, quality assurance, and installation teams.
• Monitor fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly progress.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors regarding project matters.
• Prepare engineering documentation, method statements, material take-offs, and progress reports.
• Manage project costs and assist in budget control.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable codes.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and project meetings as required.
• Support commissioning, installation, testing, and project handover.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain proper project documentation and records.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in project engineering within the metal fabrication, steel structure, manufacturing, or construction industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of SolidWorks, Tekla, or other CAD software is an advantage.
• Good understanding of metal fabrication processes, welding, machining, and steel structures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong project management, planning, and coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project is an advantage).
• Office-based with regular visits to manufacturing facilities and project sites.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with flexibility to work extended hours when required.
