Engineer

Job Description

• To plan daily site activities, monitoring progress schedule and daily production.
• Involve in submission of drawings, reports, technical clarification and method statement.
• Involve in design calculation analysis and soil interpretation, testing and commissioning.
• Obtaining any statutory / authorities' and in-house clearance before work commencement.
• Attend site meeting or inspection, render site supervision to resolve operational issue.
• Coordinate with supplier and purchaser on the material equipment procurement and delivery.
• Prepare handling over and brief project details scope with project team, review contract documents.
• Collaborate with client for kick off meeting and attend kick off meeting with project team.
• Assist Project Manager to ensure project quality and smooth delivery of work within budget.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals during tender stage including taking off quantities, attend site show round, site visit, attend tender briefing, seeks clarifications with respective client/consultant if any
• Prepare, submit, and verify progress claim to client and sub-contractors.
• Other duties as may be assigned on a need basis.

Requirements

• Possess Diploma or degree in Engineering (Civil/Geotechnical /Construction) or equivalent.
• Preferably 1-2 years of working experiences. Those without experiences are welcome to apply.
• Keen to pursue in Geotechnical/Civil Construction industry.
• Good communication skills and comprehend in application software i.e. AutoCAD and etc
• Able to work under pressure in outdoor and dynamic environment.
• Able to work independently and teamwork orientated.
• Able to commence work immediate or short notice.
