Engineer (Electrical) - M&E Subcontractor

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and effective site coordination, ensuring timely resolution of project and installation issues.

• Apply sound engineering knowledge, design expertise, and understanding of relevant building services codes and standards to support project execution.

• Ensure materials and installation works carried out by suppliers and subcontractors comply with project specifications and quality management requirements.

• Coordinate, monitor, and inspect supplier deliveries, equipment, and subcontractor works to maintain quality standards.

• Prepare and review shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and related technical documentation.

• Develop work schedules and participate in client, consultant, and internal project meetings.

• Support the Project Manager in managing daily project activities, including planning, quality assurance, safety compliance, and project progress monitoring.

• Liaise closely with the main contractor and project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and minimize rework.

• Monitor and control site materials and equipment usage to reduce wastage and optimize resources.

• Maintain close communication with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely deliveries and avoid delays impacting project schedules.

• Conduct inspections to identify and rectify non-conforming materials, products, or installations, preventing defects and quality issues.

• Evaluate and implement innovative technologies and installation methodologies to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

• Track site progress closely and provide clear direction and communication to subcontractors and suppliers.

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

  Working days: 5 days working, 8:00 to 4:45 (Based on Project)
