Engineer, M&E

We are seeking an experienced and skilled air conditioning installation supervisor.  The candidate will be responsible for supervising and managing the air-conditioning installation teams in carrying out their work efficiently and safely, while maintaining a high-quality standard of work.

KeyResponsibilities

1. Team Leadership:

·      Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of electrical supervisors and skilled workers

·      Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

·      Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the team.

1. Stakeholders management:

·      Coordinate with main contractor, MEP contractors as well as other trades subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of works

1. Technical Expertise:

·      Provide technical guidance and support to engineers, supervisors and skilled workers in executing their works according to technical specifications and drawings, as well as prevailing codes and regulations.

·      Ensure smooth execution of works in timely manner to meet project schedule

·      Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in air conditioning systems.

1. Budget Management:

·      Manage the project budget in materials and manpower

·      Monitor expenses, analyze budget variances, and implement cost-saving measures.

1. Compliance and Safety:

·      Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

·      Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of employees and customers.

1. Reporting:

·      Provide updates to senior management on departmental performance and challenges.

1. Continuous Improvement:

·      Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.

·      Stay informed about emerging technologies and methodologies in air conditioning repair and maintenance.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education &Certifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related fields

Technical Skills

·      Minimum 3 years of experience in Electrical installation

·      Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Soft Skills

·      Good leadership and team management skills

• Good communication and coordination skills
• Strong attention to detail and precision

·      Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.

·      Good critical thinking and problem- solving ability.
