Engineer (Mechanical) - M&E Subcontractor

8:00 to 4:45 (Based on Project) 

• Provide effective site coordination and technical problem-solving support to clients and project stakeholders.

• Apply engineering expertise in design, building services systems, and relevant codes of practice to ensure project requirements are met.

• Ensure materials and installation works performed by suppliers and subcontractors comply with quality standards and ISO procedures.

• Monitor and coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and subcontractor activities to maintain installation quality and project schedules.

• Prepare shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and other technical documentation required for project execution.

• Develop work schedules and participate in client, consultant, and internal project meetings.

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing daily project operations, including planning, quality control, safety compliance, and progress monitoring.

• Liaise closely with the main contractor and project teams to ensure smooth coordination and minimize rework.

• Manage site materials and equipment efficiently to reduce wastage and optimize resource utilization.

• Maintain close communication with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely deliveries and prevent project delays.

• Conduct inspections to identify and rectify non-conforming materials or installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications.

• Evaluate and implement new technologies and installation methods to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

• Monitor site progress closely and provide clear guidance to suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of works.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
