Environmental Control Officer (ECO)

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaising with regulatory authorities.

• Developing and implementing Environmental Management Plans (EMPs).

• Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and permits.

• Monitoring and reporting on environmental performance.

• Managing waste and pollution control.

• Conducting environmental inspections and assessments.

• Investigating environmental incidents.

General Responsibilities:

• Working closely with project managers and other teams.

• Maintaining accurate records and documentation.

• Staying updated on relevant legislation and best practices.

• Advising management on safety and environmental matters.

Job Requirements:

1. Must hold a valid NEA‑registered ECO licence (ECO(SCS) for construction sites or ECO(SP) for specified premises), issued within the past five years—or have passed a refresher exam.

2. Must have completed the NEA‑approved ECO training course, with certification valid within five years.

3. 2-3 years related experience in construction industry
