ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER (ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION)

Responsibilities of Environmental Control Officer (ECO)

• They should maintain the Proper disposal of construction waste/ marine clay
• They Should control Noise, air and water pollution
• They must watch Food hygiene in on-site canteens (if any)
• They Prepare and submit a Site Environmental Control Report to the workers on the construction site
• They investigate environmental issues at the workplaces
• They should take care of the Proper maintenance of septic tank(s)/ holding tank(s), chemical/ portable toilet(s), and other sanitary facilities; and any other environmental health matters.
• They Identify environmental issues and recommend measures to rectify the irregularities
• Their main role is maintaining good environmental health standards among the workers and workplace
