ERSS & Scaffolding Division

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead our ERSS (Earth Retaining & Stabilization Systems) and Scaffolding operations. This is a senior leadership role for a seasoned construction professional ready to drive growth, operational excellence, and project delivery at the highest level.

About the Role

You will have full oversight of the ERSS and Scaffolding business units — from business development and project execution to workforce management and P&L accountability. You'll work closely with director, project teams, and key clients to position the company as a market leader in Singapore's construction landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all ERSS and scaffolding operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Drive business development — identify new opportunities, build client relationships, and secure contracts
• Oversee tendering, contract negotiations, and project planning processes
• Direct and mentor a multidisciplinary team including engineers, supervisors, and site personnel
• Ensure full compliance with MOM, BCA, and WSH regulations and safety standards
• Manage P&L, budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation across projects
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals
• Liaise with main contractors, consultants, government bodies, and stakeholders
• Monitor KPIs, project performance, and continuously improve processes
• Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and regulatory engagements

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Singapore construction industry
• Proven track record in ERSS works (sheet piling, soldier piles, ground anchors, struts) and/or scaffolding systems
• At least 10 years in a senior management or leadership role
• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mathematic with science
• BCA-registered or relevant professional accreditation is an advantage
