Estimation Manager (Tuas Construction Estimation)

• Well Established Company
• Basic $6500 to $7500 + AWS + VB
• Working location: Tuas (Company Transport Provided)
• Working Hours: Mon – Fri (Normal Working Hours)
• Contract Tendering | Estimating | Buying
• Assessing material, labour and equipment required (Quotes)

Job Responsibilities:

• Liaison with Procurement department for indent / procurement of material
• Preparation of Bill of Material for billing
• Estimation and tendering works for large project
• Sales coordination, procurement, material planning, manpower planning and attending site meetings if required
• Negotiations with the client until the project award
• Advising management which corrective action to take in each stage of the project
• To monitor management information system
• Analysis of budgeted vs actual cost on all major projects on a regular basis
• Discuss with Managers and Supervisors etc on a regular basis, current safe working methods and requirements for training and equipment
• Attending pre-tender meetings
• Evaluation of technical and commercial aspects
• Execute / monitor main contract and subcontract agreement
• Take accountability and responsibility of all projects

Requirements:

• Degree in 3 years of relevant experience in contract tendering, estimating or buying
• 5 to 10 years’ experience in Construction Estimation
