Expert EHS / Trainer Lead

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Expert EHS / Trainer Lead to oversee Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance and deliver safety training to employees. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with Singapore workplace safety regulations while promoting a strong safety culture across all project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Conduct safety induction, toolbox meetings, and EHS training programmes.
• Lead workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company policies.
• Monitor safety performance and prepare EHS reports.
• Advise project teams on safety requirements and best practices.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities, and internal stakeholders on EHS matters.
• Mentor and coach employees on workplace safety and health.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant EHS and safety training experience.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and risk management.
• Possess relevant safety certifications (e.g. WSH Officer or equivalent is an advantage).
• Good communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Able to work independently and lead safety initiatives across multiple projects.
