Fleet/ Transport Operations Manager (Construction industry)

• $7,000 - $10,000 + AWS & Bonus
• A reputable A1 main contractor with 33+ years of experience, specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Alternate Saturday (5.5-day / 6-day work week) - Site Based

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage logistics operations across multiple construction projects.
• Plan and coordinate daily operational activities, including fleet scheduling, manpower allocation, and resource deployment.
• Manage the utilization and maintenance of company assets such as cranes, lorries, machinery, vehicles, and other equipment.
• Work closely with Project Managers, site personnel, suppliers, and subcontractors to fulfil operational and logistics requirements.
• Lead and supervise logistics personnel, operational staff, and general workers across various project sites.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements by monitoring fleet maintenance schedules, permits, insurance coverage, and workplace safety standards.
• Review operational performance, manpower deployment, resource utilization, and logistics costs.
• Identify opportunities to enhance operational processes, improve efficiency, and resolve logistical challenges effectively.
• Prepare operational and logistics reports for management review.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Operations/ Logistics or related field.
• Relevant experience in construction contractor firm operations, logistics, and fleet management, with exposure to managing cranes, lorries, machinery, and site manpower.
• Familiar with Singapore construction industry practices and operational requirements.
• Knowledge of WSH requirements and regulatory compliance for fleet and machinery operations.
