FORMWORK SUPERVISOR

Job Summary

Supervise and lead site workers in carpentry formworks and concrete reinforcement, ensuring compliance with structural standards and efficient material use.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise workers to perform carpentry formworks and reinforcement tasks on construction sites to meet project specifications
• Ensure all timber formwork and structural reinforcement comply with Singapore Standards (SS) requirements
• Read and interpret construction drawings accurately to guide work execution and verify compliance
• Perform construction tasks involving formwork, reinforcement, and concreting to support project progress
• Apply knowledge of timber, aluminium, and steel structural formworks to oversee proper installation and assembly
• Calculate and cost formwork materials to support budgeting and resource planning
• Monitor shutter making and assembling processes to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Calculate material quantities required for formwork and reinforcement to optimize resource usage
• Implement practical safety measures to ensure properly erected formworks maintain structural integrity during construction
