Fuel Management Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fuel Management Executive to oversee fuel inventory control, consumption tracking, vendor coordination, and reporting activities to support efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deployment of diesel trucks across multiple projects for diesel supply operations to machineries/equipment
• Track and monitor monthly diesel consumption across all operational units to ensure accurate fuel usage data
• Capture and document diesel usage data precisely to maintain reliable records
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures related to fuel management to uphold operational standards
• Support budgeting and cost-control initiatives by analyzing fuel consumption trends and variances
• Prepare monthly diesel usage reports for management including actual consumption versus budget/benchmark, machineries/equipment usage, month-on-month and year-on-year comparisons, and efficiency analysis by operation, vehicle, or project
• Identify abnormal consumption patterns, variances, or inefficiencies and provide insights and recommendations to improve diesel usage efficiency and reduce costs
• Support audits and internal reviews related to diesel usage and management to ensure transparency and accountability

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related fields
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in fuel management, fleet operations, data analysis, inventory control, or cost monitoring
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated through monitoring and reporting fuel consumption data
• Effective communication and coordination skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in construction, transport, logistics, or heavy machinery environments to enhance operational understanding and fuel management effectiveness
