Geotechnical Engineer

Job Description

• Assist Design Manager and Technical Manager on design issues both Temporary and permanent works
• Coordinated within the technical team for all aspect of design issues
• To liaise with clients’ representatives to ensure correct interpretation of Employer's drawings and specifications and any amendment of the design and construction drawings.
• Control and update of all issuance of design and construction drawings.
• Involve reviewing temporary works designs, construction sequences, and launching methodologies for precast or segmental viaduct structures.
• Provides technical support during construction by resolving site issues, reviewing shop drawings and method statements, and attending technical meetings
• Clarification of technical issues related to detailed design with clients Technical department.
• Coordinates closely with consultants, contractors, BIM teams, geotechnical engineers, and site personnel to ensure all design interfaces
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENT

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Candidates with minimum 2 years of design experience from concept stage to implementation
• Conversant in structural analysis software
• Experience in construction or excavation an advantage
• Preferably with Viaduct working experience
