HSE Officer cum ECO (East)

Job Responsibilities:

HSE Officer (Main Focus)

• Develop, implement and review safe work procedures and Risk Assessment at project requirements.
• Participate and involve in ISO implementation and audit.
• Promote and conduct safety & environmental Awareness sessions to all Staff and workers regularly.
• Ensure all work practices comply with company safety policy, all statutory legislation and requirements such as WSH act.
• Able to lead fellow colleagues and inculcate them towards safe work culture.
• Compile all relevant report and records, carry out daily safety inspection.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly safety report as required by management and clients.
• Investigate workplace accidents and injuries and refer them to the proper authorities.
• Attend to all feedback on such irregularities and inform the occupier of the construction site accordingly
• Implement appropriate safety measures in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act.

ECO/ECMO

• Liaise with relevant authority and ensure compliance of operations at site with NEA and PUB regulations.
• Conduct environmental control audit and investigations.
• Ensure compliance with environment regulations, develop environment control plan, site cleanup plans & monitor their completion.
• Prepare site environment control report on regular basis.
• Work closely with the project team to address environmental issues such as noise pollution, vector control, air pollution, water pollution and drainage, prevention & control of infectious diseases, food hygiene, solid waste management, chemical storage & disposal and haze response procedure.
• Familiarize with site Earth Control Measures and ensure no silty water discharge to public drain

Requirements:

• Bachelor/Diploma in Engineering or related with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction industry.
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in WSH Officer relevant work in construction sector
• Highly prefer to have construction experience.
• Must possessed both WSHO, ECO and ECMO license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Application.
• Willing to work in Changi area.
