Junior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Help prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for road and infrastructure works under the North South Corridor Project.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotes for fair pricing and project requirements.
• Support contract admin and help keep project costs on track.
• Draft progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Take site measurements and value completed and ongoing works.
• Work with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors on commercial matters.
• Track project cash flow and flag possible cost risks or savings.
• Check contract documents against obligations, specifications, and regulations.
• Assist with procurement, including tender analysis and subcontract recommendations.
• Keep proper records of costs, claims, variations, and contracts.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of Quantity Surveying experience in road, MRT, highway, or infrastructure projects; fresh graduates with internship exposure may be considered.
• Basic knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and contract administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and QS software.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
