Junior Work Place Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) 5.5Days

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and responsible Junior Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) to support the implementation and maintenance of workplace safety and health standards across our project sites and offices.

This role is suitable for candidates who are keen to build a career in workplace safety and health within the construction, engineering, ACMV, or M&E industry. Training and guidance will be provided by senior safety personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing workplace safety and health policies and procedures at project sites.

• Conduct routine site inspections and identify potential safety hazards.

• Support the preparation of safety reports, permits, checklists, and documentation.

• Assist in conducting toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and safety training.

• Monitor workers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with site safety requirements.

• Assist in accident and incident investigations and follow-up corrective actions.

• Maintain proper filing and records of safety-related documents.

• Liaise with site staff and subcontractors on safety matters.

• Support emergency drills and other safety initiatives.

• Carry out any other safety-related duties assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field.

• Registered or eligible to register as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer with the Ministry of Manpower is an advantage.

• Candidates with little or no experience are welcome to apply.

• Basic knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations will be an advantage.

• Willing to learn and work in construction or project site environments.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
