Job Summary

The Lead Resident Engineer will oversee water infrastructure plant projects, ensuring quality standards, design conformance, and effective field engineering, inspection, and testing to meet project engineering requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering activities for water infrastructure plant projects, ensuring adherence to design plans and specifications
• Maintain consistent quality standards across all contracts by monitoring construction and engineering processes
• Oversee field engineering, inspection, and testing functions to ensure compliance with agreed engineering standards
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve technical issues and ensure the timely delivery of project milestones
• Apply extensive engineering experience to assess and approve project designs and construction methods
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Required competencies and certifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) registration with the Professional Engineers Board Singapore or equivalent qualification approved by the Commissioner of Building Control
• Demonstrable track record of delivering projects of similar complexity and scale as approved by the Board
