Licensed Plumber

Job Description (Roles & Responsibilities)

·      Carry out, supervise, and certify water service and sanitary plumbing works in strict compliance with PUB (Public Utilities Board) regulations and the Public Utilities Act. 

·      Read and interpret building architectural blueprints, mechanical schematics, and single-line plumbing diagrams to plan and execute site installations.

·      Oversee, deploy, and manage on-site teams of plumbing technicians and workers for domestic, commercial, and industrial engineering projects.

·      Supervise the installation, alteration, repair, or replacement of water supply pipes, water storage tanks, and sanitary piping networks. 

·      Diagnose, troubleshoot, and efficiently resolve complex piping leaks, system chokes, and mechanical failures.

·      Coordinate seamlessly with main contractors, project managers, and government authorities (PUB/BCA) for project submissions, site testing, and official turn-ons.

·      Enforce and maintain strict workplace safety and health (WSH) standards across all deployed job sites. 

Job Requirements

·      Must possess a valid, current PUB Licensed Plumber (LP) certificate.

·      Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on plumbing and sanitary installation experience within Singapore's construction, facility management, or mechanical engineering sectors.

·      Strong technical proficiency in reading schematic layouts and working with diverse piping systems (copper, PVC, stainless steel, and iron fittings).

·      Proven capability to lead, manage, and coordinate site workers under demanding schedules.

·      Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory officers.

·       Any other duties as assigned.
