Lift Technician / Elevator Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Lift Technician / Elevator Technician to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of lifts and escalators, ensuring safety and quality in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out lift and elevator installation according to drawings and specifications to meet project requirements
• Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs on lifts and escalators to ensure reliable operation
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults promptly and attend breakdown call-backs to restore system functionality
• Conduct testing, adjustment, and commissioning of lift systems to verify proper performance
• Complete all maintenance and installation work safely and efficiently following workplace safety regulations
• Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation for all work performed
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, contractors, and customers to coordinate site activities
• Support modernization, upgrading, and other technical projects as assigned by management
• Perform installation and maintenance duties independently and collaboratively as required
• Work at various project and maintenance sites, adapting to different environments
• Respond to emergency call-backs and work overtime when necessary to maintain service continuity

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a valid Motor Bike License
• Hold NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Technical Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in lift or elevator installation or maintenance preferred minimum 5 years
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in lift technology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong troubleshooting skills applied to electrical and mechanical systems
• Effective communication skills for site coordination and reporting
