Lift Tester

KONE Singapore is embarking upon an exciting growth phase and as such we are seeking Lift Testerto join our team in Singapore. You will be part of an experienced team and carrying out tests and final inspections on-site.

What will you be doing?

• Liaise with relevant site personnel to ascertain state of escalator/elevator
• Post notices on escalator/elevator and communicate with the others who may be affected
• Ensure that the escalator/elevator is electrically safe
• Commission the escalator/elevator in accordance with the agreed specification parameters
• Test the escalator/elevator in accordance with the relevant test document and KONE standard
• Take measurements and completes the necessary documentation
• Record any abnormalities for corrective action or inclusion in H&RA for the escalator/elevator site
• Carry out final inspection and signs the Final inspection document
• Report the condition of the escalator/elevator to the Installation Supervisor who is responsible for all the site activities.
• Provide snagging items list to the Installer and a copy to the Installation Supervisor. The Tester should not make any other communication outside the company without permission from the supervisor.
• Responsible for the escalator/elevator well security (safe for other trades and public etc) and safety of all persons involved in the installation activities during commissioning and testing of the escalator/elevator

Are you the one?

• Minimum Certificate in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Possesses a service mindset
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
