Job Description - M&E Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Site & Technical Coordination

  • Coordinate daily M&E activities on-site with main contractor and subcontractors
  • Assist in monitoring installation works for accuracy, quality, and compliance
  • Identify and report design clashes and site issues

Drawing & Document Control

  • Review and coordinate M&E drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions
  • Maintain records of drawings, revisions, and approvals
  • Assist in method statements and inspection checklists

Testing & Inspection

  • Support inspections, testing, and commissioning activities
  • Coordinate inspections with consultants and authorities
  • Assist in preparing testing reports and handover documentation

Project Support

  • Track M&E work progress and report delays or risks
  • Assist in coordination meetings and preparation of technical reports
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for material delivery and technical matters

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 3–7 years of relevant M&E coordination experience in construction projects
