CHAN RONG FEN BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD began as a general works contractor in 2000. It now serves as main contractor for small to medium projects and provides project management services coordinating specialist trades for industrial and commercial projects.

Job Summary

Support project management by coordinating planning, resource deployment, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely, quality delivery of building projects with a focus on mechanical and electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and preparing project documentation for submission to meet project milestones
• Propose alternative design and construction methods to Consultants to optimize project outcomes
• Plan and manage resources effectively to ensure smooth project delivery and adherence to timelines
• Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders on site to ensure project requirements and quality standards are met
• Identify, document, and communicate issues related to products and processes to enable timely resolution
• Perform additional duties assigned by Management to support project objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
• 1-3 years of experience as an M&E Engineer in building projects
• Ability to plan and coordinate site works, including resolving drawing details and discrepancies
• Proficient in liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to facilitate project progress
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with Autodesk Revit MEP is advantageous
