Job Description
Oversee the installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of TBM mechanical and electrical systems.
Manage temporary services on-site, including power distribution, lighting, ventilation, dewatering, compressed air, and communications.
Support rail logistics and material handling systems (such as Y-switches, locomotives, and gantries) for tunnel supply operations.
Plan and coordinate both preventive and breakdown maintenance to effectively minimize TBM downtime.
Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures, and compliance with MOM and LTA requirements.
Coordinate closely with the tunnelling team on cutterhead interventions as well as hyperbaric and maintenance works.
Maintain accurate M&E records, maintenance logs, spare-parts inventory, and as-built documentation.
Liaise effectively with suppliers, the main contractor, and relevant authorities under the direction of the Project Manager.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree in either the Mechanical or Electrical stream.
Possess a minimum of five (5) years of working experience in tunnel-related projects.
Must have active, direct, and hands-on involvement in tunnelling activities during those projects, specifically concerning TBM M&E systems, temporary services, ventilation, and underground works.
Demonstrate strong working knowledge of TBM electrical and mechanical systems, as well as tunnel temporary services.
