Job Title: M&E Engineer (Building/Industrial- East region/Changi)
Salary Range: $6,000 – $6,900 per month
Performance Bonus: Twice yearly (2x annually), based on individual and company performance.
Leave Entitlement: Extra company leave on top of statutory annual leave.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with consultants and subcontractors regarding shop drawings, material samples, and method statements, ensuring all relevant parties are promptly notified of any revisions or updates.
Project & Technical Oversight: Actively participate in project and technical meetings, proactively resolving on-site issues with owners and consultants to maintain seamless construction progress.
Quality & Compliance Assurance: Verify that all site installations strictly adhere to approved drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements, while ensuring subcontractors promptly rectify any instances of non-compliance.
Workflow Management: M&E coordination meetings with subcontractors to confirm that work sequences are properly scheduled, and brief site supervisors accordingly to prevent clashes in site activities.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve site-related challenges with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers in a timely manner to minimize any potential delays to the construction timeline.
Documentation & Audits: Maintain and update all relevant project documentation to ensure full readiness and compliance for ISO audits.
Safety Compliance: Collaborate with the safety department and fulfill all assigned safety duties, including the strict adherence to permit-to-work protocols.
Testing & Handover: Coordinate integrated services and equipment testing with consultants and contractors, ensuring the site is fully prepared and compliant for authorities' final inspections.
Requirements:
Education: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or a related discipline).
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in M&E coordination, preferably within the local building/construction industry (commercial, residential, or industrial projects).
