M&E Engineer / Senior M&E Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced M&E Engineer / Senior M&E Engineer to support the execution of building services projects across commercial and industrial developments. The successful candidate will be involved in the full project lifecycle — from engineering coordination and design review through to site supervision and commissioning.

Candidates with experience in Singapore building M&E projects are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate M&E engineering drawings, technical submissions, and specifications
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on project execution and technical matters
• Monitor and supervise site progress, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety, and quality standards
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of M&E systems
• Ensure adherence to Singapore authority requirements including BCA, SCDF, PUB, and EMA guidelines
• Support project meetings, documentation, material submissions, and progress reporting
• Assist in resolving technical and site coordination issues

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent
• Minimum 6–7 years of relevant M&E building project experience in Singapore
• Familiar with ACMV, electrical power and lighting, fire protection and alarm, plumbing and sanitary, and ELV systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with BIM and CSD coordination preferred
• Sound knowledge of local codes of practice and authority submission requirements
• Good communication and coordination skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Candidates with stronger experience and qualifications will be considered for a Senior M&E Engineer position
• Working location: Jurong East
• Salary: SGD 4,500 – 6,500/month, commensurate with qualifications and experience
