M&E Engineer-Permanent/ Changi

Job Summary

Provide comprehensive Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) engineering support to project teams, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality execution of construction projects.

Working Hours：Mon-Fri 8:30am-6:00pm,Sat 8:00am-1:00pm
Location： Changi area
Job Type: Permanent ,Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Support M&E Managers, Project Managers, and Planning teams in project execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, site representatives, authorities, and subcontractors to resolve M&E technical and site issues.
• Collaborate with structural, architectural, and M&E subcontractor teams to resolve drawing discrepancies and technical conflicts.
• Participate in project coordination and progress meetings to align with project schedules and milestones.
• Manage M&E drawings and site documentation, ensuring proper control, accuracy, and accessibility.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements for approval prior to execution.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise M&E site activities to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and schedules.
• Monitor subcontractors and site teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare M&E progress reports for management updates and project tracking.
• Coordinate Testing & Commissioning (T&C) works to ensure successful completion and handover.
• Arrange inspections with consultants and relevant authorities for approvals and compliance.
• Work with the EHS team to ensure strict adherence to safety regulations on site.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with a main contractor in building or civil construction projects.
• Experience in M&E project coordination and/or site management.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders.
• Good teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability in a project-driven environment.
