M&E SUPERVISOR

Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and experienced M&E Supervisor to oversee daily Mechanical & Electrical construction activities, coordinate manpower, and manage site operations for ongoing projects across Singapore. The successful candidate will ensure that all works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) construction activities and monitor site progress.

• Coordinate and supervise workers, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure timely project completion.

• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.

• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities for M&E systems.

• Attend site meetings and liaise with project managers, engineers, consultants, clients, and main contractors.

• Monitor workplace safety practices and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.

• Prepare daily work schedules, manpower allocation, progress reports, and site documentation.

• Resolve site technical issues and provide guidance to site personnel.

• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment utilization, and site housekeeping activities.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project standards.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) construction projects.

• Experience in supervising site operations, subcontractors, and project execution.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.

• Good knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and construction regulations.

• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities efficiently.

• Experience in Electrical, ACMV, Plumbing, Fire Protection, ELV Systems, Data Centre, or Telecommunication projects will be an advantage.

• Willing to work at different project locations across Singapore based on operational requirements.

• Strong leadership and site management capabilities.

• Ability to manage multiple work fronts under tight project schedules.

• Familiarity with Singapore construction procedures and coordination practices.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Good interpersonal skills for coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, clients, and project teams.

• Proficient in preparing site reports, work schedules, and progress updates.

• Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and quality management practices.

• Experience in commercial, industrial, residential, and data centre projects is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.

• Possession of relevant safety certificates or construction-related training will be an added advantage.
