Material Planner

Materials Take Off:

· Prepare material take-off based on construction drawing or latest drawing as per advice from Project Schedule or Management

· Prepare and issue ‘PRF’ based on material take-off and approved samples

· Ensure all materials needed for the project is ordered before it is needed and make sure the materials are available when the Fabrication Order ‘FO’ is issued

Optimization for extrusions and sheet of Fabrication Orders ‘FO’ issued:

· Prepare Excel file of all items in the ‘FO’ issued indicating item no, qty, material used, finish and location

· Optimization for alum sheet and extrusions, will indicate material type and size to be used then optimize

Issue hard copies of the optimization for distribution

Monitors material usage:

· Create material usage report Excel file for all alum sheet and extrusion for each project. Included herewith are all the alum extrusions ordered with PRF no. and qty, delivery order and packing list and the Fabrication order where the materials were used.

· Update the report every time materials are ordered, delivered/received at Malaysia Factory and every time a ‘FO’ is issued ensuring the availability of all material needed in that ‘FO’

SAP System Purchase Request and Delivery Orders ‘DO’:

· Key-in all ‘PRF’ issued in SAP system

· Key-in all ‘DO’ as per Contracts Claims

Prepare and submit reports:

· Prepare and update the Raw Material Procurement Status Log Chart E for weekly internal meeting on time.

· Prepare and submit Raw Material Usage Report (Extrusion Utilization) for the whole project as required on time.

· Meeting all internal deadlines (schedule)

Coordinates with Singapore Factory production, Malaysia Factory production and purchasing on material issues.

Requirements:

· Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Diploma in Building Engineering / Materials Science or related discipline

· Minimum 2 years' experience in Façade industry

· Organized

· Willing to learn

· Decisive and focused

· Determines productivity and quality
