Mechanical BOP Design Engineer

About the Role:

Navsar Global is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical BOP Design Engineer to join a major power generation project in Singapore. This is a critical role requiring a subject matter expert to lead the design and coordination of Balance of Plant (BOP) systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence across the full engineering lifecycle, from initial calculations to final product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

coordinate all process and product engineering deliverables specifically related to Mechanical Balance of Plant (BOP) systems.

Develop, review, and finalize comprehensive technical specifications for Mechanical BOP packages.

Conduct rigorous technical analyses and engineering calculations to ensure system integrity and performance.

Oversee the technical evaluation of vendor bids and manage the integration of third-party equipment into the overall plant design.

Provide expert guidance on mechanical systems including cooling water, compressed air, water treatment, and fire protection systems.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless interface management and project alignment.

Ensure all designs comply with international standards, local regulations, and client-specific requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience within the power plant engineering sector.

Proven expertise in process, calculation, and product engineering for large-scale energy projects.

In-depth knowledge of Mechanical BOP systems and their operational requirements within a power plant environment.

Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of coordinating complex engineering deliverables.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.

Effective communication skills, capable of liaising with global stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
