Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

• Endeavour in assisting the Project Manager, Dept/Section Heads.
• Help developing detailed design & drawing details.
• Carry out analysis/calculations on design in compliance with design codes and authorities’ requirements in order to obtain statutory approvals.
• Liaise with drafters in producing detailed drawings.
• Assist in producing reports and specifications.
• Prepare submission documents to the authority for approval & permit.
• Perform any other duties in connection with the project as instructed by the Project Manager, Dept/Section Heads.
• Acting as the principal technical liaison among the project team, customers, subcontractors, and the company.
• Maximizing project profitability through appropriate material buyout and engineering approaches.
• Handling quality control, including maintenance of non-conformance reports (NCRs) and specification waivers.
• Interfacing with the Project Manager for engineering deliverables and resources.
• Preparing final and As-built documentation, as well as Operation & Maintenance Manuals and Manufacturer Data Records.
• Promoting and developing solution capabilities and application knowledge to support current and future projects.
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement:

- Degree or Master in Engineering / Business Management.

- Have at least 3 years of experience in Engineering and Management Level.

- Managed at least 100 people directly and indirectly.

- Potential candidates are required to have a few years (SE Asian and India) regional work experience in the electronics or semiconductor industry.

- Strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills.

- Strong work ethic and highly organized.

- Techno-commercial and project management experience in construction of Turnkey projects in electronics and semiconductor experience.

- Overall management experience in Civil & MEP works including cleanroom construction, process and utility gas management and distribution, building automation, waste water and process exhaust management.

- Turnkey project execution experience is highly preferred.

- Willing to station both in Singapore and India for business development and project execution.

- Strong market knowledge and networking ability to set up a company subsidiary in India.
