Network and Cyber Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, and cloud network environments

• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and network devices

• Monitor network performance and ensure smooth operations at project sites

• Prepare for commissioning, decommissioning, and technology refresh activities for network devices

• Perform preventive maintenance, patching, and firmware upgrades

• Monitor and respond to cyber security threats and incidents

• Manage security tools such as Firewall, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, and XDR

• Troubleshoot and resolve network and security-related issues

• Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and incident reports

• Support implementation of cyber security controls for cloud and on-premises environments

• Support deployment of new security solutions and infrastructure enhancements

• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, government agencies, and project stakeholders

• Provide support and maintenance for network infrastructure and end users

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field

• Experience in network and cyber security operations

• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, switching, and firewall technologies

• Familiarity with security tools such as Firewall, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, and XDR is an advantage

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

• Able to work independently and as part of a team
