Operation Manager (Air Conditioning)

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

1. Oversee day-to-day air conditioning service and project operations

2. Plan, schedule, and monitor installation activities

3. Optimise manpower allocation and resource utilisation

4. Develop SOPs for installation works

Team Leadership & Supervision

• Lead and manage ACMV technicians, supervisors, and support staff

• Conduct performance evaluations and training programmes

• Ensure team compliance with safety standards and company policies

• Motivate and develop technical teams for high performance

Client & Vendor Management

• Maintain strong relationships with clients

• Address service complaints and ensure prompt resolution

Financial & Administrative Control

• Prepare operational budgets and cost estimates

• Monitor expenses and control operational costs

• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with ACMV regulations and safety standards

• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits

• Maintain proper documentation for regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

Education & Certifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in ACMV operations

• At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role

Technical Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems (VRF, Split AC, FCU)

• Familiarity with local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment

• Strong coordination skills in managing multiple stakeholders

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to changes

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
