Precast Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities:-

Production Planning and Coordination

·       Developand implement production schedules to meet project milestones.

·       Coordinateproduction activities with engineering, quality assurance, logistics,procurement, and project teams.

·       Ensurethe effective utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and otherproduction resources.

Quality Control

·       Ensureall tunnel segments are manufactured in accordance with project specifications ,quality standards, and applicable codes.

·       Conductregular inspections throughout the production process.

·       Investigatequality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions , and maintain qualityrecords and documentation.

Production Management

·       Managethe daily operations of the precast tunnel segment production facility.

·       Superviseproduction personnel and monitor productivity, efficiency, and output.

·       Identifyopportunities to improve production processes and optimize manufacturingperformance while meeting project deadlines.

Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance

·       Ensurecompliance with all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations andcompany policies.

·       Promotea strong safety culture through regular inspections, toolbox meetings, andsafety awareness initiatives.

·       Investigateincidents and implement corrective measures where necessary.

Equipment Maintenance

·       Coordinatepreventive maintenance and repair of production machinery, moulds, lifting equipment,and other plant assests.

·       Minimizeequipment downtime to maintain uninterrupted production operations.

Bugeting and Cost Control

·      Assist in preparingproduction budgets and monitoring operational costs.

·      Identify cost-savingopportunities without compromising product quality or safety.

·      Monitor material consumptionand minimize production waste.

Team Leadership andManagement

·      Lead, supervise, andmotivate the production team to achieve production targets.

·      Allocate work effectivelyand monitor staff performance.

·      Provide coaching andtraining to enhance employees skills and productivity

Coordination with MainContractors and Subcontractors

·      Collaborate closely withmain contractors , sub contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensureproduction activities align with project schedules and technical requirements.

·      Attend coordination meetingsand provide production updates as required.

Resource Management

·      Manage the availability andefficient utilization of materials , equipment moulds, and manpower.

·      Coordinate with procurementand warehouse teams to ensure adequate stock levels of production materials.

·      Optimize resource allocationto maximize productivity and meet production trargets.

Requirements

·      Bachelor’s degree in CivilEngineering

·      Minimum 10-15 years ofexperience as a production engineer in the field of Precast LTA projects.

·      Well-versed with AutoCAD

·      Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice

·      Good interpersonal skillsand problem solving skills

·      Ability to work well in ateam environment.
